The yarn supplier for our recycled fabric ranges converts more than 2 million consumer waste PET bottles daily into value added textile yarns using patented technology. This chemical recycling process depolymerises post-consumer PET bottles back into their original building blocks that then produces clean, consistent, high performance polyester yarn that we use to weave fabric for window blinds.
How is this possible?
The Carnival and Carnival Blackout range is produced using reclaimed liquid that would have otherwise been discarded, making it an eco-friendly alternative to traditional window blind fabrics.
Furthermore, Louvolite's commitment to using recycled yarn in this range reduces the amount of waste and energy needed in the production process. The Carnival range also uses 100% recycled content in its production. This range is perfect for creating a colourful and sustainable interior design scheme.
